About HEPG AB Engineering

AB HEPG (HAEK ENGINEERING PROFICANAL GROUP), was founded in 1988 by Dr.Thamer Alyass, we made joined a venture with Swedish company AB Jan Falk Engineering. who for 15 years had been working with licensing and international sales for a major Swedish conglomerate. the main activities of the company are export deliveries of equipment and /or turn-key packages for water and sewage treatment and other municipal and/or public services as well as consulting services in this field.

The company has during the last 6-7 years increased its activities to include sewer and water pipes, static mixers, sewer rehabilitation equipment, and municipal vehicles such as cesspit emptiers and vacuum loaders. power generation unit. The company has a partner, an international oil trading company, adding financial strength to the company.

The main markets during the last 20 years have been Iraq, Libya, and Saudi Arabia. The customers were initially major Swedish international groups within the construction and the power field, but have during the last 15 years mainly been public and authorities.

IRAQ

Iraq has from the start been the main market for the company. the first project in Iraq for the founder, Dr.Thamer Alyass, was a subcontract for sewage treatment for the Al-Rashid hotel in 1988. The first contract in the HEPG AB was a Dohuk water supply of 20000 cubic m/h in 1989 as subcontracted to ABB.for who also made subcontractor for clariftocculators for Mosul and Hilla water supply schemer.         

In 1989-1990 we supplied and commissioned the Musayeeb water supply project. We also had a contract for three compact water treatment units for intended delivery in October 1990. Because of the Gulf War had to arrange donations via the church of Sweden mission and Danchurchaid in cooperation with the Middle East Council of Chrches. The plants finally arrived in Iraq in 1992-1993.

In1992we also signed contracts for 25 compact water treatment units and for the supply of iron pipes and pump station equipment for the Basrah pump station, Wafaa el Khaeed. The plant finally arrived in Iraq in 1992-1993.
